As likely to be seen at the wheel of a tall ship as on a festival stage, Barry runs the 'Sessions and Sail' musical sailing voyages.

Scottish folk centred around fiddle and piano. The album begins with Dawn Chorus, which slowly awakens to the rising sun. There are reflective compositions throughout, while Almost Home and Ascending lift the mood back up. I think Megan Henderson and Lauren MacColl should do a gig together.
